Zion Blvd has been repaired!
This is a letter from Gene Maughan to the owners
along Zion Blvd.
January 23, 2011
Once Again, HELLO Neighbors:
It has now been one week since our road was
repaired. It's great! Isn’t it?
First of all I think that we all owe
Gary & Bruno Biasi a huge
THANKS for the
excellent job that was done. They both went way above and
beyond what I was expecting. Several of you have asked me to
tell Gary thank you and so I hope that this takes care of that.
Next another huge
THANKS
to all of you who pitched in to help make this possible.
Just so everyone knows who helped give us a decent road, the
following families donated; McIff, Gordon Weaver, Jensen, King,
Sullivan, Nehrenz, Ellis, Robison, Lords, Stowell, Stuart, Wayne
& Linda Thompson, Lyle Thompson, Bill & Shirley Crocker, Joyce
Crocker, Zueck, Lagerquist, Schultz, Wetzel, Pitchford,
Andrews, Parker/Johnson and Maughan. I still have three or four
families who have said they would help.
So many of you donated more than was
requested which certainly helped cover the cost of the families
who chose to ignore the road problem. To those who couldn’t
help or ignored the problem, we as ROAD OWNERS can only request
that you, your families, friends and associates respect the road
that “we the people” have paid for in order to have a decent
road to get to our homes. Please lift your foot up off of the
gas pedal for just the short time you travel on Zion.
Fifteen miles per hour is a great speed and it keeps the dust
out of everyone’s home.
